I looked around at JoAnn's, Michael's, and even T.J.Maxx; I wasn't having any luck finding something I liked that was a reasonable price (to me that's about $20). I've seen a few different blogs showing some DIY Spring wreaths but they always seemed more Easter than general Spring and I want to leave that wreath up for a good long while. I decided to just make my own. Nothing fancy or complicated. I went to Michael's and just planned to figure it what I wanted once I started shopping.
My initial thought was to use some butterflies, cause I like 'em and they're pretty. But they're also expensive and the pickings were getting a little slim at Michael's. So I ended up with these supplies instead:
Colorful and plenty Springy! I didn't do anything spectacular just popped the flowers off the stems and started placing them around the grapevine wreath to test things out. It wasn't real difficult so I busted out the glue gun and got busy. I was pretty liberal with the glue because I had to shove the tiny little plastic stub into the wreath.
The only adjustment I made from the trial wreath was I left off a few of the smaller buds. But here's the finished wreath!
And looking super Springy on the front door:
I love how the colors pop off the black door. I'm really happy with the result. It was easy, made to my taste, and only cost about $11! Anyone else been in the wreath making business lately? Link-up below if you have a recent Spring wreath project (or any other Spring DIY craft you've made!).

I liked how you used my magazine to glue. Thanks jerk!
