Some obligatory photos with the bean (aka Cloud Gate) at Millennium Park.
We attempted to visit Goose Island Tap Room but it was closed due to road construction and ended up over at Revolution Brewing. It was a cool atmosphere and they had plenty of space for people to sit and hang out. As a non-beer drinker, I wished they would've had something other than beer to offer but they made up for it by providing free popcorn. :)
The next day we decided to hit up a river boat tour leaving from Navy Pier. Eric has a need for speed so we went on the Seadog speed boat tour.
It was a fun trip that lasted about an hour. We went out onto Lake Michigan for a "speed" portion of the tour and then went through the locks and toured down the Chicago River. The tour guide on board did a great job educating us on the city history and the architecture of the buildings we passed by.
Saturday evening we visited The Laugh Factory for a comedy show. The show we went to featured multiple comics and I liked that we were able to see a variety of styles. The host of the show was also really funny, I actually liked him more than some of the actual comics.
It was a super fun weekend with some great friends and we loved spending time with them. Thanks for reading about our adventures!
Love, K
Fun!
